O T Man is Shot March 21, 1982 Police Believe an arguement over money led to the shooting death of an Oakland Township man early Sunday morning. The man, Roger Griffin, 31, died after being shot with a double barrel shotgun at his residence at 1615 Predmore Road in the township's northern portion, according to officers at the Michigan State Police Post in Romeo. A 15-year-old youth was taken into custody at the scene and transported to Children's Village in Pontiac. State Police officers were not releasing any further information pending completion of a report on the shooting. Note: by Dale Randall Roger was survived by his parents Spencer and Margaret Griffin, seven siblings, his wife, Cindy Griffin, their daughter Melissa Griffin, two other children, Chris Schroeder and Rebecca Griffin. The Griffin family believes that Roger was living with another women when he died, and that her 15 year old son murdered Skip.
